Hi everyone, I'm the founder of Zethora, a fair launch, CPU mineable Layer-1 built in Rust (forked from Kaspa's BlockDAG). We have integrated Zcash's Orchard 0.16.0 for shielded transactions. The private sending logic is working on our devnet, and we have successfully tested and blocked double-spends and counterfeit attacks on a live seed node. Before we enable private sending on a public testnet, we need an independent cryptographer to review the integration. We are specifically looking for a review of: • Circuit usage (we use the fixed Orchard circuit) • Note tree construction and anchor maturity • Nullifier storage • Turnstile supply accounting (we use a public balance ledger to ensure no inflation) The honest situation: We are entirely bootstrapped. We cannot pay standard industry audit rates ($10k+) right now. We are looking for someone who loves privacy tech and wants to help a new chain launch safely. In exchange, we offer: • Public credit in our Lightpaper and GitHub repo • A named section in our privacy specs for the reviewer • First testnet access • A written commitment to pay retroactively if Zethora ever receives grants, donations, or ecosystem funding. No token exists yet. No presale. Just code and specs. If you are interested, or know someone who does ZK/Orchard reviews, please comment or send me a DM. (I will post the GitHub and spec links in the comments below so this post doesn't get caught by the spam filter). submitted by /u/Unusual-Character-72 [link] [comments]
